Inpainting Guide

What is Inpainting?

Inpainting allows you to selectively edit parts of an existing image. It is not a general "fix this" feature, but rather a way to retry generating a specific section of the image that you draw over. This lets you modify specific areas while keeping the rest of the image intact.

How to Use Inpainting

  1. Upload your base image
  2. Use the brush tool and draw over the area you want to modify. You should completely cover the area you want to modify.
  3. Leave the prompt blank or describe the changes you want to make in that area
  4. Generate to see the results

Tips for Better Results

  • Make precise selections for better control
  • Use natural descriptions for realistic, tags for anime that match the original image style
  • Start with smaller areas for more predictable results
  • For fixing feet with extra toes or incorrect anatomy, draw over not just the problem area (like the extra toe) but also part of the surrounding area. For example, if an image has 6 toes, cover both the extra toe and some of the side of the foot to allow the AI to redo that entire part, which increases your success rate.
